Dr. Chandrappa was born on 1st June 1968 in Kolar District of Karnataka. He completed his undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degree programs from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore.He began his professional career as an Assistant Professor on 01.02.1999 at the College of Horticulture, Mudigere under the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore. Over the course of his academic career, he has guided three Master’s students and has published more than 25 research papers in reputed national and international journals. At present, he is serving as Professor in the Department of Horticulture, College of Agriculture, V.C. Farm, Mandya. He is also holding additional charge as Dean (Postgraduate Studies) at the University of Agricultural Sciences, Mandya.
